TECHNICAL DATA. I use only the best marine quality 316 stainless steel wire, using molybdenum alloy which has exceptional resistance to corrosion and is tempered to prevent work hardening, which is the cause of 'needling'

and magnetism - the first sign of brittleness.

Our halyards are made in house with 3mm 7x19 316 marine grade stainless steel, they come complete with hard eye and s/s thimble at one end and soft loop the other. With a 4mm retrieval line spliced on.

We make our halyards to order as a lot of dinghies have tooth racks or highfield levers in different places.

Among the dinghies we supply are: Wayfarers, Enterprise, GP14, Wanderer, Fireball and Hornet. But we can supply for all similar sized dinghies.

How do I measure my New Halyard ?

The measurements required are the 'A' and 'B' measurements shown in the picture.

If you do not have your old halyard to measure, the 'A' measurement is the length from the shackle at the top of the fully hoisted sail, into and then down the mast and back to half way along your make off point i.e toothrack or highfield lever.
